Beginner Green Smoothie Recipe

I used to do be a morning coffee drinker. I needed my cup of coffee to function and start my day, or so I thought. But,believe me when I tell you this, put in mind that this is coming from a previous coffee addict, the green smoothie has replaced my coffee addiction in the morning. I no longer need coffee first thing in the morning or throughout the day for that matter, but we will get into that later.

The best time to consume the green smoothie is early in the morning to get the maximum benefits out of it. You can always have it as a snack between meals as well; its low in calories and high in fiber so it can fill you up between meals.
The green smoothie is full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, antioxidants, and energy.



1 cup water

2 cups fresh spinach

1 medium ripe banana

1 cup pineapple (if you don’t like pineapple, you can replace it with berries or a pear)

1 apple


Add water and spinach then blend together until all the spinach is blended well. Then add the fruits and blend again.
