Combining both luxury dining in a breathtaking atmosphere and a healthy menu that isn’t too sinful is not easy to come by, but The Smokery have mastered just the right balance.
For starters, we indulged in the Tomato Soup, which has the perfect balance of creaminess and richness. Tomatoes contain a unique compound called lycopene which help protect against cancer and help boost the immune system.
After the scrumptious soup, we had a hard time choosing between all the many seafood options. In the end, we went for the Salmon Teriyaki Salad with guacamole. Salmon is an extremely nutrient dense fish choice, and is an excellent source of protein, selenium, potassium, and vitamin B12. It is also extremely rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which helps with the management of chronic diseases and lowers the risk of some cancers too. The guacamole served as a delicious side and nourished our body with even more healthy fats, folate, and vitamin B6.
Because it would be rude to leave such a beautiful restaurant without dessert, we shared the Crème Brulee dessert. Although maybe not the healthiest dessert option we knew we wouldn’t want to miss out on such an intricately made pleasure. With a perfectly crisp top and a creamy centre, the crème brulee was well worth the indulgence and satisfied our taste buds without being overly sweet.
If you are a seafood lover and are after a luxurious restaurant option that won’t break the calorie bank in Cairo, Marassi, or even Gouna then The Smokery is the perfect option. Fresh, high quality food and fine cuisine made with expertise and love.
