It is such a breath of fresh air to see schools going above and beyond the school curriculum to teach kids about matters beyond science and math. One school in particular, El Alsson, took maters to a new level by bringing together their student body and raising awareness on autism through a new outlet. They show people everywhere that school is not just about memorizing a curriculum but rather about teaching kids about matters that are beyond the walls of the classroom.

On April 2nd, Autism Awareness Day, El Alsson Primary Elementary School brought together the entire student body to create awareness around autism. With everyone dressed in blue, the students prepared an “Autism Awareness Dance” in a creative and inspiring move to teach kids about autism and spread it’s awareness. The video also gives viewers a few facts and figures about autism awareness, making it both entertaining and educational – the perfect mixture to intrigue and raise awareness.
