Quinoa Milk

We're all about dairy-free alternatives here at TDC, it came as a particular surprise to us that you can make milk out of Quinoa. Yup, you heard right: Quinoa Milk. Rouane El Mahdy has a simple recipe that you can literally do with your leftover batch of Quinoa!

Ingredients

1 cup cooked Quinoa

2 1/2 cups Water

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 tbs Agave Syrup

Directions

Add Quinoa and water to a blender

Blend well until it reaches a thick consistency

Add vanilla extract and agave

Blend again

Strain the through cheesecloth or a fine mesh sieve

Serve and enjoy or chill in the fridge for later!
