Winter is coming! You know what that means, right? Comfort food! And what better way to really settle into the season than with Italiano®  Premium Range Big Shells pasta stuffed with spicy shrimp. It’s flavor packs a punch with citrus and peppery notes so it’s definitely going to warm you up. And you know what makes them better? They double as finger food!

  • 1 Pack of Italiano® Big Shells pasta
  • 1 kg Shrimp (peeled and de-veined)
  • 2 tbs flour
  • 200g Butter
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 250g Cooking Cream
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Handful of parsley
  • Handful of coriander
  • 5 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 2 sprigs of green onion (chopped)
  • Red and green bell peppers (diced)
  • 1/2 head of celery
  • 1 bunch of basil
  • 1 tbs dried basil
  • 1tbs cumin
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 tbs lemon
  • 1 tbs vinegar
  • Sprinkle of sumac


Step 1:

Boil pasta for 7 minutes

Step 2:

Marinate and season shrimp with minced garlic, lemon, salt and pepper, and cumin
Pan fry with butter on a low heat

Step 3:

In a separate pan mix milk and heavy cream with flour, simmer on a low heat till it thickens slightly. Toss with chopped onion and diced peppers.

Step 4:

add in coriander, parsley and, celery and cook for a few minutes.

Step 5:

Add shrimp to the sauce and cook on a low heat remove from heat when boiling

Step 6:

Take the shrimp mixture off the heat and stuff the pasta
Garnish with coriander and parsley. 

Serve and enjoy!
