But in order for a smoothie to be a nutritional replacement for a full meal it needs to have fats, carbs and protein. This means that blending together two fruits does not actually count as a proper meal replacement, this is why we’re bringing you the ULTIMATE breakfast smoothie with all the macros, nutrients and vitamins that you need for a fully empowered morning.
Every perfect smoothie needs to include the following; a healthy fat, a protein, high-fiber carb and a liquid base.
For our liquid base, we used coconut milk
For the healthy fat, we used UP Nuts
For a good source of fiber & carbs, we used oatmeal and bananas
For protein, we added almonds from the UP bag
To add a powerful flavor punch we added one tablespoon of raw cocoa powder
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup oatmeal
- 1 tsp raw cocoa (adjust to taste)
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 cup UP fruits & Nuts
Directions:
Add 1 chopped banana
Add raw cocoa powder
Add 1/2 cup oatmeal
Add 1/2 cup UP Raw Nuts & Dried Fruits
Add 1 cup coconut milk
