Do You Need to Study to Become a Business Owner?

Well, of course, you need to study but the real question is what. I believe you need to develop yourself in every single way to be a successful business owner. However, I don’t believe you need to have an MBA in order to start your own business. I find that when you take the direct “studying route” you find yourself stuck in a certain way without coursing through your veins.

What Are the Characteristics You Need to Be a Business Owner?

All you need is just 3 characteristics that will help you do anything you want to do and fulfill your business owning dreams. Those 3 are passion, determination, and vision. If you have all three, you can just start on this journey with nothing stopping you.

What Do You Advise as a Route to Get Your Business Started?

There are a lot of routes that one can take to develop to start their business. Personally, I chose to read a lot (and I mean a lot) of books that were completely diverse. I read about business, self-development, spirituality, and even success stories. Actually, that last category had some of the best books that helped me really achieve what I wanted.
I read how other successful people did it and that helped me because I could copy some of their ways. You’ll find that most successful people have a lot of things in common, and if you just do a couple of what they did you’ll get where you want to be. If you have the 3 things I mentioned above, you’ll find that everything else comes along the way. The money, the plan, the team will all come and it all starts with those 3 characteristics.

What Should You Do If You Want to Expand Your Business?

First of all, you need to understand that this is a decision that you don’t have to make, you don’t have to expand. So many entrepreneurs fall in the trap of thinking that they have to expand. You don’t. If you’re happy enough having that one branch, that one boutique, that one store that’s special to you, you don’t have to expand it.
However, if you feel that you want to expand your business both internally and externally then you have to invest in the right first of all. It’s the people that are going to help your business grow, not just you, you can’t do everything by yourself. You could even bring in a partner like I did, to help you with investments, decisions and all that. Finally, you have to have your vision in sight and know exactly how you want your business to grow.
Ask yourself if you want to franchise the business, or if you want to grow in your country alone or you want to go global. Everything is possible when you put your vision right in front of you and you and you start to work backward, what do you need to reach your end goal.

How Do You Sustain Your Business Yourself When It’s Growing?

Let’s get something straight, you can’t grow your business yourself alone without a great team. If you do everything yourself, you’ll find your life deminishing right in front of you. You won’t stay true to who you are as an artist, as a visionary, you’ll be too depleted to do anything with the same passion and fire you did before. That’s why I make sure to delegate as much as possible
Most people are afraid to invest in a team that will help their brand and business grow, they think what if it doesn’t and I lose all of that money, effort and time. But, what if it does?! Your business can’t grow unless you put in the time effort and money to help it do that. Investing in the right people is the best and first step you could do to sustain the growth of your business.
